Mother's Day Plant Sale

Once again there will be a variety of potted plants,
hanging baskets, and flats to choose from.
Click the link below for the schedule when each class will visit the sale. Parents are encouraged to join their children during these times to help select that special plant for that special person. Parents may shop at their leisure any time during the sale.
Help is needed for unloading, set-up, assisting children with their purchases, sales, and clean-up. We are especially in need of moms and dads to help unload the truck on Monday morning (May 4th) at 9:30 a.m. Please send in a note to the School Office if you are able to help. Any time you can give would be very much appreciated!

Students in Kindergarten through Grade 8 are invited to join Ms. Anderson and Miss Melissa and discover a new language using your hands, American Sign Language! You will learn the alphabet, colors, songs, prayers, and many basic signs to be able to communicate with the deaf and hard of hearing world.

Immunization requirements for school attendance have changed for the 2014-2015 school year. Please contact your health care provider ASAP to make sure all required vaccines have been administered. Library Gift Club
The Sts. Philip and James School Library Gift Club provides an opportunity for anyone interested to commemorate a special occasion in someone's name (i.e. birthday, sacrament, birth, etc.) or in memory of a deceased loved one. A book plate with the date, occasion, and name of the person being honored as well as the donor will be affixed to a book. A reminder will be added for each child to say a prayer for the persons mentioned.

Uniform Bank Update
The SSPJ Uniform Bank is stocked up and ready for use by all SSPJ families - free of charge! Get your Winter uniform items now! (Winter uniforms begin November 1st.)
Also available: Limited supply of SSPJ sports uniforms in various sizes.
Gently used, laundered donations gratefully accepted. Also, the Uniform Bank is in need of girls' skirt hangers. Please send any donations in or drop off at the School Office.

Please be advised that there is to be NO parking at any time, for any reason in front of the school building along Clinton Avenue. Whether you are dropping your child off, signing him/her out or dropping something off to the office, you must park in the parking lot!
Inclement weather is no exception.
The street must be kept clear for buses and students crossing from building to building throughout the day.
