Welcome to
the 2014-2015 school year at
Sts. Philip and James School

Lord Jesus, we ask for Your help as we begin this new school year.  Allow us to experience Your presence in the many blessings You put before us.  Open our eyes to the new challenges and exciting opportunities that this new school year brings.  Open our hearts and minds to new friends and new teachers.  Give us a generous spirit to be enthusiastic with our studies and courage to accept new opportunities.  Help us to be attentive to one another and let us experience Your presence in our new friends.  Jesus, inspire us to do our best this year!  Amen.

Happy Labor Day!

May Jesus, through the intercession of
 Mary our Blessed Mother
and St. Joseph, model of a prayerful worker,
fill us with blessings of work and peace.  Amen.

Attention Parents - Middle States Update

Sts. Philip and James School was accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools in 2009.  Accreditation is designed to assist educational institutions enhance their ongoing performance efforts for the benefit of their students.  Sts. Philip and James School is now entering the process of re-accreditation which will take place in the Spring of 2016.  This two-year process will include a thorough examination of many areas including our mission, beliefs, instruction, and curriculum.  As part of this evaluation, we will affirm our strengths and propose action plans for improvement and growth.  We will keep our families advised as we move through this process and will be asking for assistance from parents along the way.  Sts. Philip and James School invites this process and believes accreditation to be important because our students deserve the highest level of educational excellence possible.
