I am so excited to begin another wonderful school year! My name is Miss Wener and this is my fourth year teaching at SSPJ. My goal this year is to create a safe and welcoming environment for my students to learn, become more independent, and take creative risks. We have a wonderful and exciting year ahead of us!  This year, we will be growing in our Catholic faith as we learn about the lives of the Saints and study the Old Testament. Our class will read some really amazing novels, become experts in Greek Mythology, and travel around the world, as we learn about ancient world civilizations. We will be perfecting our reading and writing skills and grow in appreciation for all types of literature. I have high expectations but I am determined to help every child succeed. It is going to be a wonderful year!
