In January:
 
Nursery through 3^rd Grade: will continue to explore the different ways we use our voices in singing seasonal songs (N-K), interpret lyrics and examine musical elements using songs from musicals (1-3) and prepare Liturgical songs for upcoming school Masses (K-8)

3rd Grade: will continue their Recorder Karate I unit.  Students are learning C and high D in "When the Saints go Marching In". Students will learn the lower e and low d in "It's Raining".
 
 
4^th Grade: will continue their Recorder Karate II unit. Students will learn F# and low D by learning "The Water is Wide". 
 
 
5^th Grade: will continue their Rock and Roll unit. 

6^th Grade: will continue their Disney unit. 
 
7^th Grade will continue their piano unit by learning the C Scale, G Scale and switching between C and G chords. 
 
 8^th Grade will continue their piano unit. Students will learn the D scale, the D Chord and how to transpose songs from the key of C to D.
