Ms. Lauren Merola has her M.S. Ed. in Literacy Education from Long Island University in Brentwood and her B.A. in Child Study from St. Joseph's College in Patchogue. She has been teaching for fourteen years and has worked in both the primary and intermediate grades.

Prior to starting at Saints Philip and James School, she taught kindergarten at Notre Dame School in New Hyde Park for three years and here at Saints Philip and James School for four years.

She is very excited about starting her fifth as part of the Saints Philip and James School community as the third grade teacher!! She looks forward to a fun and exciting year of growing and learning as Apostles of Hope together!!!
