Leadership initiative: The move from elementary school to middle school marks the beginning of a new set of expectations and a new world of opportunities. Challenging academic curriculum and inspired Catholic teachings give each student the intellectual, spiritual and social preparation needed for greater achievement in high school, college, and beyond. A renewed focus on study skills and research skills begin to prepare students for the rigors of high school.
Maintaining academic superiority: The innovative middle school program, now called "The Academy" continues our students' challenging academic curriculum including rigorous literature, math, computer, art, music and foreign languages classes. Sts. Philip and James School students consistently score in the top percentages on national and state testing and through the Academy model, expects to continue to see our students earn a 100% acceptance rate into one of the prestigious Long Island Catholic High Schools.
Faith into Action: The moral and spiritual lessons SSPJ students have learned along the way guide them into more advanced charitable activities and community service.
